Irene Schreiner, LMFT
Therapist / Collaborative Divorce Coach / Business consultant
Irene’s results-driven therapy approach, infused with humor and straightforwardness, is designed to facilitate meaningful, effective change. She firmly believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and fulfillment, yet recognizes that people often seek therapy when they feel stuck—lacking clarity, skills, or direction to move forward with confidence.
Irene takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with clients to identify patterns, underlying challenges, and practical barriers that may be contributing to their current struggles. Rather than focusing solely on insight, she prioritizes forward movement—helping clients translate awareness into action through clear goals and intentional change. Sessions are structured, focused, and tailored to support progress in a way that feels both supportive and empowering.
A core part of Irene’s work involves helping clients develop healthier relationships—with themselves and with others. She is deeply committed to educating individuals and couples about emotional health, communication, boundaries, and relational dynamics, while also supporting clients in building the skills needed to navigate conflict, stress, and life transitions more effectively.
Irene’s therapeutic style balances empathy with directness, allowing clients to feel understood while also being challenged to step into meaningful change. Her goal is to help clients feel more confident, capable, and equipped—so they can move beyond their current concerns and sustain progress long after therapy is concluded.
In addition to therapy, Irene provides collaborative divorce coaching, supporting individuals as they navigate the emotional, relational, and decision-making aspects of divorce outside of the traditional litigation process. Her work in this area focuses on helping clients regulate emotions, communicate more effectively, clarify priorities, and remain grounded during a highly stressful life transition—allowing them to make thoughtful, values-based decisions.
When Irene isn't in the therapy room helping her clients, she can be found spending time with her husband, cat and friends, traveling or learning new tricks on a circus apparatus.
