Robyn Ashbaugh, LMFT

Robyn Ashbaugh, LMFT

Therapist / Clinical Supervisor

Robyn’s therapeutic approach blends authenticity, warmth, and humor with an unwavering commitment to her clients’ personal growth. Her primary focus is on addressing the root issues that led clients to seek therapy, using a practical, goal-oriented approach that keeps sessions focused while still feeling supportive and human.

Creating a safe and open environment is of paramount importance to Robyn. She works to build comfort and trust quickly, while also encouraging clients to challenge themselves in ways that promote meaningful change. As both an encourager and an empathizer, Robyn brings a deep understanding to the therapy room, drawing from her own personal and familial experiences to help clients feel genuinely seen and understood. She is known for being appropriately sarcastic when helpful, protective of her clients’ emotional well-being, and deeply invested in their progress.

Robyn is especially passionate about working with couples and believes communication is the foundation of every healthy relationship. She enjoys helping partners improve understanding, rebuild connection, and navigate difficult conversations with greater clarity and confidence. One of her areas of interest includes sex therapy, and she values supporting couples in reconnecting and shaping relationships that align with how they want to live and relate to one another.

In sessions, Robyn’s style is engaging, relatable, and intentionally a bit quirky. She brings energy, humor, and simple, real-life examples into the room to help clients better understand patterns and experiment with new ways of showing up—whether individually or within their relationships. Her goal is always to make change feel approachable rather than overwhelming.

Robyn’s combination of compassion, consistency, and direct guidance helps clients move forward with confidence. Above all, her intention is to help clients reach a place where therapy is no longer needed—leaving with greater insight, stronger relationships, and the confidence to maintain the progress they’ve worked hard to create.

When Robyn  isn’t in the therapy room helping her clients, she can be found spending time with her husband and cats, reading, running or rowing, and organizing.
