Kimberly A. Hart, LCPC, ACS

Kimberly Hart, LCPC female African American therapist working with couples and individuals at solid foundations therapy

Therapist

Kimberly approaches her work with clients and client-systems through a holistic lens, remaining open-minded, flexible, and deeply attuned to the broader contexts that shape each person’s experiences. She understands that many challenges stem from systemic injustices and limited access to resources, and she meets clients with empathy, patience, and a hopeful belief in their capacity for change. With a calm yet encouraging presence, Kimberly guides clients through their therapeutic journey in a way that feels supportive, collaborative, and progress-oriented—fostering meaningful transformation both internally and within their relationships and communities.

Central to Kimberly’s philosophy is the belief in the inherent value of each client. She recognizes that people make the best choices they can with the options available to them in any given moment and works to help clients approach themselves with compassion rather than judgment. By highlighting strengths and expanding awareness of new possibilities, Kimberly empowers clients with agency and supports them in building momentum toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Passionate about fostering wholehearted living, Kimberly places a strong emphasis on relationships and personal growth. Her therapeutic style is patient, flexible, and at times playfully curious, allowing space for exploration while still keeping goals in clear focus. She fluidly steps into roles such as collaborator, explorer, consultant, and authentic motivator—helping clients internalize their strengths, address growth areas, and translate insight into actionable change. Through thoughtful assessment and individualized treatment planning, Kimberly supports clients in moving toward lives marked by greater contentment, connection, joy, and peace.

Kimberly invites clients into a therapeutic experience that balances compassion with forward movement—where feeling understood and making progress go hand in hand.

When Kimberly isn’t in the therapy room helping her clients, she can be found at an indoor rock climbing gym scaling various routes.
