Natalie Retrigue, ALMFT

Therapist

Natalie is a warm, collaborative, and relationship-focused therapist who believes that the connections we have with others play an important role in our emotional well-being and how we understand ourselves. She strives to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where clients can be honest about their experiences, explore challenges openly, and feel supported as they work toward meaningful change.

Natalie approaches therapy as a partnership. Rather than telling clients what they should do, she works alongside them to understand their experiences, identify their goals, and recognize patterns that may be contributing to current struggles. Her approach balances support and encouragement with thoughtful challenges that help clients gain new perspectives and take intentional steps toward growth. Natalie believes clients already possess important strengths, and she helps them recognize and build upon those strengths as they create changes that feel realistic and sustainable in their everyday lives.

With a systemic and relational perspective, Natalie looks beyond a single problem or symptom to understand the larger picture of a client’s life. She considers how relationships, family experiences, culture, and environment may influence the way clients think, feel, communicate, and connect with others. By helping clients understand these dynamics, Natalie supports them in developing greater self-awareness while finding practical ways to navigate challenges differently.

Natalie enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families and values the unique story and background each client brings into therapy. She is especially interested in helping clients better understand their relationship patterns, strengthen important connections, and navigate periods of change. Her appreciation for diverse experiences allows her to approach each client with curiosity and respect rather than assumptions about what their relationships or lives should look like.

Above all, Natalie wants clients to leave therapy with more than insight into why they feel stuck. Her goal is to help clients translate that understanding into meaningful progress by developing new ways of approaching challenges both within themselves and in their relationships. She strives to help clients feel more confident in their ability to create change, strengthen their relationships, and continue applying what they have learned long after they leave the therapy room.

When Natalie isn't in the therapy room helping her clients, she can be found spending time with family and friends, going fishing and dancing. I also enjoy exploring new places and trying new experiences. She’s big believer in making time for the people and activities that help you recharge outside of work.
